Courage whispers

I read somewhere that courage doesn’t always roar but sometimes it is the quiet voice at the end of the day that says, “I’ll try again tomorrow.”

Our courage can take a beating from the vicissitudes of life, combined with our own fears and self-doubt. It may be waning, limping and leaning on the it’s-time-to-quit fence. You might be thinking – If only I can get a heaping mound of thunderous courage, I could go on or start over. And while you’re waiting for the shout, the quiet voice of your courage is whispering to you. Be still, ease off the anxiety, disappointment, shame, regret and fear. Listen.

What is your courage calling you to try again?
