It’s your right

Charles Evans Hughes said, “When we lose the right to be different, we lose the right to be free.”

Are you holding fast to your right to be you? Or are you giving up your right, little by little, day by day and becoming someone who don’t like or recognize?

  1. Joanne,

You told my story there, in a nutshell.

When I look back, I can see that elements of my true self all the way through, although hidden by some of the usual life issues. I was scared to come out and be.

Like you, it took me a long time to wade through a lot of stuff to get to the point where I could and I do own who I am and declare my right to be me.
