Mridu Khullar Relph writes about First Steps

Early morning inspiration in my inbox.

I awoke this morning and found a blog post by Mridu Khullar Relph in my inbox. I was inspired by her firm but gentle slap up side the head/kick in the butt. Read it here. Then go and take that first step towards the life you want, the dream you crave, the passion that’s burning within.  Be inspired by what Mridu says. Read her post on First Steps.

Go on now. Go. Go. Go.

  1. I clicked over to Mridu's post, very inspiring. I think taking that first step is also the first step in “owning” what we do. And when we do, the passion has a way of truly becoming our life, we move forward with it and build our successes. That first step takes us a long way.

  2. Top of da mornin to ya Joanne.

Your “That first step takes us a long,” made me wonder how many follow-up steps I've taken since that first step to follow my dream to be a fulltime writer.

  3. Thanks for the shout out, Cheryl! I think first steps are also about releasing fear. When you finally decide to do something and take control and ownership of what happens next, you are in a way releasing the doubtful voices in your head that hold you back. And that is possibly the biggest hump to get over.

  4. Hi Mridu,

Oh you're welcome. I couldn't keep it to myself. I had to share your thoughts.

Yes, that dreaded fear lives even in our more ardent dreams but once we can deal with and get past it/them, we are empowered to take the first step, which inspires us to keep moving, walking, climbing.
